Where are you from?
I've lived in New Jersey most of my life, but I was born in New York.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would probably say I'm on the quiet or shy side, but also fun and bubbly.
Would you agree with them?
Yea! I'd also add that I'm light-hearted and very free-spirited.
How did you get discovered?
I was at Governor's Ball with my friends just sitting on the lawn when a scout approached me. He asked me if I've ever considered modeling before and took some photos. Things really just started happening from there.
Had you ever considered modeling before?
No, never. I didn't have the hugest interest in fashion, but I liked keeping up with what's in style. Whenever I saw the iconic magazines I liked I'd pick them up and flip through.
Which magazines would you gravitate towards?
Vogue – of course– but really anything that grabbed my attention.
What does your non-modeling life look like?
Well, the biggest and most time-consuming part of my life is horseback riding and owning a horse. His name is Arlo and I'm with him three to five days a week.
How did you first get started riding horses competitively?
I've always loved animals since I was young, especially horses. I went to a riding camp when I was about nine-years-old and immediately loved it. It's gotten more serious over the last eight years and now I show around ten times a year and compete.
Wow, that's impressive. Horseback riding is often scary for many people.
For sure. Falling off is inevitable, so I've learned how driven I am. When I want something I'm very dedicated to achieving it. I've broken my wrist before. My horse flipped on top of me and landed right on my hand, but I always get back on and keep riding.
What was one of the first careers you considered?
I thought about being a vet because I really love animals. My family has had two dogs, a cat, snakes, a gecko, a turtle and a hamster. Now it’s just a horse, dog, cat, snake and gecko – ha!
Last question – night out with friends or night in on the couch?
Night in watching movies with friends and popcorn. Definitely.
