Long Island, New York native Marc Sebastian Faiella was discovered while interning at Kenzo in Paris. He received his big break upon walking in the Balenciaga Spring 2013 show during the men’s collections season. In the same season, Faiella also opened and closed Lanvin, and walked in the Marc by Marc Jacobs show. He also appeared in the contemporary label's lookbook.
Select magazine covers and editorial features include 10 Men magazine, Dazed, i-D, Vogue Turkiye, and The Greatest Magazine. He has also appeared in promotions for Harrods, and Topman.
Since his debut season, Faiella has become a catwalk regular, cast in the shows of JW Anderson, Opening Ceremony, and Rag & Bone, among others. For the last three seasons, Faiella, a self-proclaimed fashion connoisseur, has worked exclusively with Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent Paris. As a graduate of both FIT, and Parsons The New School, he is passionate about all aspects of the industry, and spends his free time writing, and designing womenswear.
Off-duty, Faiella is an outspoken LGBT advocate, and appeared in Dan Savage's highly popular ‘It Gets Better’ campaign. In 2017, Marc co-founded Voices 4, a non-violent activist group that applies political pressure to bring about action on global issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. He currently resides in London.
